Calgary Flames Invite Alex Nylander to Training Camp on PTO

Nylander has reportedly been invited to Calgary's upcoming training camp on a professional tryout (PTO), giving the 28-year-old forward an opportunity to earn a contract with the Flames .

The former eighth-overall pick of the Buffalo Sabres in the 2016 NHL Draft is coming off a productive 2023-24 season with the AHL's Toronto Marlies. Nylander recorded 23 goals and 53 points in 65 games and played an important role during the Marlies' Calder Cup championship run.
