Saints rookie report: Preseason Week 3

Miller returned to practice from his injury that he suffered against the Rams, which means he should be able to play in the Saints' last preseason game. So far, Miller has arguably been the best rookie so far, and that's even when he didn't play in week 2 and missed a good amount of game 1. In the little time he has played, Miller looked like one of the best run defenders on the roster and really fit in Brandon Staley's scheme.

For the young DT, he will not have to wait long to become a starter. It's clear how important he is to the defense, even if it's just preseason.

TE Oscar Delp has had a slow start to his preseason and is now dealing with an injury. Not the best combination for a rookie, and even if the hamstring issue is minor, Delp is likely going to miss game 3.
