Penguins Set To Appear On National TV 20 Times This Season

The Penguins will have 20 national broadcasts in the 2026-27 season, tied for the most in the NHL. The Boston Bruins are the only other team scheduled to have 20 national broadcasts this year.

The Penguins will appear on ESPN four times, ABC five times, ESPN+/Hulu one time, and TNT 10 times.

All four games between the Penguins and Washington Capitals will be featured nationally, which shouldn't surprise anyone. There's a decent chance that this will be Alex Ovechkin and Evgeni Malkin 's final NHL season, so the networks want to make sure they get the top ratings for those games.
