The season-ending injuries to Bud Clark and Jake Bobo were both shown on the broadcast, punctuating preceding segments in which we got to see Clark with his fiancee and their young son, as well as Bobo and his heart-to-heart with receivers coach Frisman Jackson .
Clark, who broke his ankle on the Seahawks' first defensive play against the Tennessee Titans , immediately screamed out, "My sh-t just broke!" after an audible snap could be heard as he planted his right ankle. Incredibly, through the intense pain after suffering an injury that would leave him sidelined for months, Clark kept a remarkably positive attitude as he made his way onto the cart.
Clark later said to Coach Mike Macdonald, "Hell yeah, coach, we gravy. It hurts like a motherf—ker, though."
