Golden State reportedly to round out roster signing sharp-shooting forward Georges Niang

Golden State is signing Georges Niang to their 15th and final roster spot, reports Shams Charania of ESPN . This is a veteran minimum contract, and considering Niang's injury history last season, it's a safe bet it will not be fully guaranteed.

Earlier in the day, it was reported that the Warriors signed point guard Brandon Williams .

Niang fits the Warriors ' need for a stretch big after Quinten Post left for Memphis in free agency. In his last healthy season, 2024-25, Niang averaged 9.9 points per game and shot 40.6% from 3-point range. He had played in at least 72 games in the previous five seasons and was considered durable.
